Diego López, among the youngest Valencia CF players to reach 15 goals in LALIGA in the 21st century
The Asturian winger ranks fourth, only behind Juan Mata, Paco Alcácer, and Santi Mina
Albert Celades ran the first Valencia CF training session of the week on Monday morning at the Ciudad Deportiva, as the squad put the LaLiga game against RCD Mallorca the previous day behind them and turned their attention to the Copa del Rey. The team, defending champions in the cup competition, take on UD Logroñés on Wednesday.
Ezequiel Garay, sidelined for the Sunday trip to the Balearics with a knock, was back amongst the group, returning to training after several days out.
The weather for the session was cold, wet and windy, but the players trained with intensity and focus. The starters from the game against Mallorca undertook recovery work, before joining up with the rest of the squad on the pitch.
